Default Universal PSP M33 Installation

OK so, Im a super noob at this stuff, i have sucessfully downgraded to 1.50. Now I have downloaded the M33 3.52 Easy Installer for Complete N00bs.. there are 3 files in the folder, one of them is a read me... if I am correct all i have to do is place the two files into my <Game folder in the PSP and then start the game? Last time i tried this same thing it would show up a "Game could not start 80000#### mumbo jumbo.

sooo should it all work? was i missing a file? thanks
EIDT:

I have 3.52 installed on my PSP, does that mean I have to downgrade to 1.5 then download the eboots, to to install 3.52 M33?

You downgrade to 1.5 by using Pandora's Battery.
From there, you download the require files for the 3.52M33 upgrade.
After than you download the updates for 3.52M33-4

Alrighty, but instead of using the pandora battery method, I can use the pandora memory stick method right?
Since they both downgrade official 3.52FW to 1.50, and the pandora battery seems like too much of a hassle.

You really should read the Pandora's BATTERY guide more carefully. You need the battery in order to make the memory stick work. You can't just throw in the memory stick and use a normal battery and hope that it downgrades it.

No, just download the update, get the m33update4 folder into your GAME150 folder and you are good to go. Just remember you need to have 3.52 M33 first though.
Yeah and sasybot's right, you need the battery and the configured memory stick.

Firmware Installed: 3.52 M33

Default Universal PSP M33 Installation

Hi guys. I'm new here, but I've been visiting this site a lot, especially to get the latest info on all the custom firmwares.

I have a serious problem whenever I try to upgrade my firmware to 3.52 m33-4. I think I'm following the steps laid out in the guide correctly, but everytime I run the update, I think I'm getting a soft brick(I can access Recovery mode, but I can't access the D-pad or face buttons). Can anyone tell me EXACTLY what files to put where so I don't really mess up my PSP? I've done this 4 times already with the same result every single time.Thank you in advance.

It goes in the GAME150 folder.
