Default Universal PSP M33 Installation

So, when it says "Requires: fat psp slim" (in the 3.71 M33 readme) does it mean it needs a FAT formatted PSP slim and won't work on the old PSP cannot be upgraded to it?

Basically, my question is, my old white psp (not slim) is on 3.52M33 with update4... will I be able to update to 3.71m33 even though it's not a new slim psp?

-Edit-

Not to worry, found I can install it when reading the page at this link

upgrade through wi-fi is only possible from 3.80 m33 firmware...not the early ones...so i guess you have to use pandoras battery approach

The web browser and all the other things that come with official firmware are working great on the 3.52 M33 firmware. So, as far as I cam tell there is not one problem I have found. Great work M33
the psp came out in 2004/5. hasnt even been 7 years. but yh 3.52m33 is a great firmware.
