Firmware Installed: 3.40 OE-A

Default Universal PSP M33 Installation

Can't say I will be in any rush to update.. 3.40 OE is doing everything that I need it to do. Leave it for a while and sit back and see how it all goes. When I find something that needs later then 3.40 then I might look in to it but suspect that will still be a few months if not a year away

hmm didn't seem any different from the 3.51 M33.

Does it matter if I used the Japanese 1.50 eboot (mine's one of the very first batch from Japan with model no. PSP1000) for the initial M33CREATOR, is there actually any difference?

My question is, is it possible to go back to 3.40OE after going 3.52M33?

anyone ever stop and think that we are all basically running blind firmware on our PSP's and these guy's could be quietly taking over the world unbeknown to any of us?

just a thought.

i think it's worth the gamble...

Can someone be kind enough to upload the 3.52m33 Easy Updater to some other file sharing website other than RapidShare.

Thanks in advance.

Default Universal PSP M33 Installation

man i dont know whats up w/ my PSP lately all of a sudden i upgrade my FW and then BAM, my isos start acting all funny, i try some new isos i jsut downloaded (syphon filter, UEFA champs league, and GUN showdown) and none of them seem to work no matter which iso loader i choose(they just go black and i have to pull out the battery), this is very irritating

im pretty sure its me and not the FW but before my 3.52 my GTA liberty city stories launched just fine...andnow its not launching at all..i deleted it b/c i never played it but still this is just weird any suggestions

currently i have everything in recovery set as defualt except the iso loader im using the sony one

You mean you just "tried some ISO's of UMD"s that you dumped?

Might wanna edit that..

Ok, been running 3.51 m33 since release and am on 3.52m33, so far no problems, ALL my iso's/cso's work fine on the sony loader including burnout, yes!! Recovery menu whilst charging? no problem's here. Browser? No problems either, must be lucky I guess

Ok, So I will be considering upgrading to this ofcourse, but all this does is benifite people with ps3's? so wouldn't that make upgrading pointless tell you have a ps3? And Mr.Bucket if your screen turn's black hold the power button for 15-25 seconds and it will turn off its self.

Dont rip out the battery, $20 says thats why its acting funny try downgrading to 1.5 then re upgrade to the desired firmware. If its still screwed then try replacing your flash0 backup with your current flash0 and see if that makes a difference (Im not sure but i think you have to be on the firmware you made the copy of the flash0 or you could fuck it up? anyone wanna confirm this?) if its still acting funny then, i feel sorry for you =(

1. click on 2nd link in my signature
2. scroll down to the bottom of the first post
3. download RECOVERY folder.
4. unpack it in psp/game/recovery
5 turn off your psp.
6 hold R and turn it on.
7. in recovery mode select "run psp/game/recovery/" and wait till its flashed back to 1.50

p.s. do this at your own risk
