OK, any clue why the updater is NOT!!!! working for me and I am running M33 3.52-4???? I keep getting the error "Must be running 3.52" I don't have the exact wording on that. OH it is a FAT PSP too???
Think a downgrade may be in order to resolve this? |

OI...nevermind, I = moron.
I did my first I guess REAL upgrade to 3.4 OE and did it just to play a PSX game, knew nothing (or actually didn't pay attention to what it was) recovery mode, where you can change which Kernal things are executed from, hehe whoops.
Now I just need to charge my bloody battery, I'm at 73% big BOOURNS, oh well now I know I'm just stupid at least. |

What is the difference between all the new CFW? Can anyone explain them to me?
Which is mostly preferred by people?
Also, I have 3.03 OE.C and I was wondering if I could upgrade too since I have not seen any posts with anyone having 3.03 OE.C |

zain1- You have to downgrade your PSP first to 1.50. YOu can use pandora or LUmines.
Plasmus- The new cfw comes with new features like the no UMD option, and many more plugins to be used. PLus you can have official themes from sony .

How To: 3.71 M33 installation
Hi
I am still very new to all this but I have my fat PSP running 3.52 m33-4 and want to update to 3.71 m33 then to -3.
I put the updater into the update folder under the game directory, also downloaded the original sony 3.71 update renamed it to "371.PBP" and put it into the update dir.
loaded the psp up with full battery and ran the updater, it started to run but then said "This program requires 3.52 m33-3 or higher."
What am I doing wrong?
thx
EDIT: Ok worked out what I was doing wrong. I had it set to 1.50 kernel in recovery so just changed it to 3.52.
