In the readme it clearly states that if your on Custom Firmware you do not need to run the KXPloit Patch. |

3.40oe-3.90m33 Custom Firmware Installation Guide. VERY NOOB friendly
Definately a very simple guide to follow... i loved the instructions on how to "highlight" the folders to copy and paste... if that's not detailed enough, i dont know what is LOL
Thanks for the guide, everything went smooth for me except for the 4.01 update which had the link to the 4.00 original FW instead of the actual 4.01. (maybe you can just fix the link for future readers) and after getting 4.01 M33 running i tried running the 4.01 M33 -2 update and i get data corrupted when trying to run it from the PSP... but what he hell.... 4.01 is working just fine LOL
Thanks again for taking the time to put this guide together |

Drew This is a very helpful guide and you got me rockin CFW. The only thing I had a hard time with was to keep using the kernal add-on the higher up in FW I got. You might want to add that on the higher FW. Still a killer guide, the best one I could find. |

Thanks for the compliments. As i stated, I made this because the people who write out guides, write them for people who have an understanding of what is happening. We were all NOOBS at one time and we tend to forget this.
I updated it today to fix all the errors that have been reported. (4.01 link, 3.40oe-3.52m33)
I will add newer firmware updates as well as kernal addons soon. |

3.40oe-3.90m33 Custom Firmware Installation Guide. VERY NOOB friendly
Hello Drew,
I have successfully updated to 3.52 m33 on my psp phat but i am in desperate need now to get my psp up to 5.01 to work with my PS3 at 2.5.2 FW. I accidently deleted my psp from remote play on PS3, so I now need the latest FW to re-establish a connection. I believe there is a cfw for this level right. Just don't want to risk bricking my psp, also want to ensure 1.5 fw compatibility any ideas.
Thanks in advance |

OK i´ve followed your upgrade from 3.52M33 to 3.52M33 - 4
I have it within the game application of the PSP
as i can clearly see in the dark window 3.33.33
Í have clicked onto it, it´s loaded in as would any other game
but to a Black Screen
Is this what is supposed to happen ? |
