Thanks Drew. But I've got one question about upgrading to 4.01m33: In steps 5 and 7, do I copy that ofw file (renamed "401.pbp") to the UPDATE folder? If so, is it right that I end up with 2 files in the UPDATE folder, "401.pbp" and "EBOOT.pbp"? |

Hi Guys,
Sorry if i ask a very noobs question.
well i have update the fw to 4.01m33-2 (PSP Phat) and it was from 3.90 m33.
so far most of the game would run very good but i need to leave any umd into drive in order to play the game.
really confuse me as other friends of mine could just play the game with out umd inserted?
please enlighten me ?
thanking you in advance |

I updated it today to fix all the errors that have been reported. (4.01 link, 3.40oe-3.52m33)
I will add newer firmware updates as well as kernal addons soon. | Drew, Gr8 job on this post! Your instructions made it easy. I was able to install the CFW 3.52 m33-4 without a hitch. I'm looking forward to your guide on how to get to 5x. Thanks again and keep up the good work! |

By "4.01" do you mean, "4.01 M33-x"? Because if you have Custom Firmware, you just have to do a Network Update. All CFW updates PAST 3.80 M33 can be upgraded via the [Network Update] option in the XMB. |
