::..GUIDE..::UPMS easy Installer(Veteran Noobs and UP)
Hi all, UPMS Project have release the latest version of UPMSInstaller and Ultimate Loader, this version is called Emerald and don't contain any sony prx's in the CSO, so it's legal to distribute.
The latest installer can be found at:
You will have to sign up to download.
Sorry can't post as URL, not allowed.
We have added a few more functions, and as always this should work on any CFW above 2.0 and on any kernel.
Also we don't mind people creating guides on other forums, but please give credit to the Creators of the Project. |

You no longer have to have CFW to make a Pandora. The files can easilly be found on PSPMOD.And you do need CMD to do msinst. |

By the method that started this post you need CMD to do it...but i found a guide elsewhere that i used and i did not need CMD and it worked perfectly.. Click Here its an easy installer for this pandora package.
you do however need cfw already to use this method.

Alright, I bought the Slim PSP Daxter Entertainment Pack from Circuit City 2 weeks ago. It has OF 3.72, and it has never been modded before.
Not knowing that I need a phat psp battery for creating a Pandora Battery, I bought a Slim PSP Battery to create Pandora Battery. I do have a 1GB MS that I intended to convert into a Magic MS.
Someone told me that "UPMS" can help me create my Slim PSP Battery into a Pandora Battery. Either way, my question is, am I in the right place looking for a solution? I.e., Can I use "UPMS" to either create my Slim PSP Battery into a Pandora Battery or somehow flash to CF using this installer? Or am I completely off track here?!?
Thanks Guys! |

Thanks!
All of it sounds groovy - my only problem is that I'm lacking a basic initial understanding. I think the prime question is - Is this process only valid on a modded PSP? That is, do you need to have a Custom Firmware already on your PSP before you can use this?
So someone like me, who has a PSP with Original Sony Firmware and doesn't yet have a Pandora Battery can't really use this, right? |

You need to be able to Run ISO's so either a firmware that can run an ISO launcher/DevHook....or CFW.

Basically that's the only firmware I have right now on my PSP and I don't have a modded PSP or Pandora's Battery - so I can't have a CFW. |

they both seem to be very similar...both are much easier than the original package! |
