Just a little heads up to all those having trouble with it getting stuck at "Unpacking...Done, Please Wait". I found the solution that worked for me.

I had 3.52 M33 and it was doing the same. All I did was start up my PS3 and hold R while doing it to get into that....whatever you call it screen. Then go to configuration, and set the GAME folder to run with the 3.52 (in my case) kernel instead of the 1.5 kernel. Done....it fixed it for me. I hope this works for yall too.

Now if I can just get Remote Play working with this stupid satelite internet so I can start up Folding@Home while I'm away.

Default Easy 4.01 Custom Firmware Installer

Hey guys- I am having serious trouble trying to install the CFW to my Slim. I have followed both the video and written instructions, but it keeps giving me the Game Cannot Be Started error message. This is the first time I have tried installing a CFW, since I only got it a few months ago. I tried following Payas advice:

btw..for the people that get the error saying "the game cannot be started", do the following thing because I had the same thing

Access the recovery mode by following the following steps:
1. Completely shut down your PSP (Not stand-by)
2. Hold the "R" button (i.e right trigger) while starting your PSP
3. You are now on recovery mode
4. Go the "Configuration"
5. In "UMD" mode, switch it to M33 UMD diabled
6. Exit the console and start your PSP normally.

This should hopefully do the trick enjoy!!

But I only ended up turning my PSP on and off several times. Please help! Oh, and total noob moment (since I've only had the PSP for a few months now): installing this CFW will help me play games that I download, correct?

Hey guys, question. I'm getting an error when i try to pandorize a slim battery. I've done this tutorial on a couple psp before and all have worked fine but i would like to know if it is that i have to use a phat psp to modify and then transfer or do i have to slap in a phat battery into a slim in order for it to work. thanks in advance.
