I'ma a noob at all this, so excuse the stupid questions. ATm i have a PSP phat with 3.71 M33-4 FW on it. Would i just be able to the follow the tut to upgrade, or will i need a PB and a MS too?

After downloading the 401.M33-2 it says there is no PBP file and I can update from internet. So the file is corrupt ?

i think i broke my psp.... i was using the 3.71 and followed your steps and when i executed the firmware, the screen went black and now i can't start it... whats wrong with it?

I'm guessing you're not on CFW to begin with and you just bricked it =) There WAS a warning saying you need to be on CFW =)
Now you will need a pandora and a MMS

once again.. you need to be on custom firmware before you can use this method....

Hi, I have a PSP with 1.50 version firmware with nothing else on it... can I install this 4.01 version on it without any problems and still play the latest games out there?
