i am trying to downgrade 2.81 what method is the best way to downgrade my psp i wasnt sure because none of them say 2.81 but the tittle say its in here

theres no downgrader for 2.81. if u actually read the thread youd see the last sentence says "there is no 2.80 or 2.81 downgrader at this time"

Hello Guys,

This is my first post... as hard as I tried to figure this whole thing on my own (using the handy dandy search tool)... I just can't get this thing to work. I had version 2.0, which I upgraded to v2.71 in order to downgrade to 1.5. I'm following these intructions and I'm upto the part where the screen is supposed to turn green or red... unfortunately all I get is red.. and that's only once in a while. It says to keep trying but i've been trying for like an hour and nothing's happening. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? I appreciate your help.

Hi Julie,

I figured I could just do that but all of the stuff I kept readin reffered to downgrading from either 2.5 or 2.71 down to 1.5.. Plus I'm pretty sure I read somewhere to do this. Anyhow.. any suggestions on what may be wrong?

no idea. ive never done a 2.71 downgrade. and the easiest downgrader is the 2.00 one. u literally just drop a small file in photo and it does it automatically

the 2.6 to 1.5 was fairly easy as well, all i did was download the installer, plug in my psp, and let the program do all the work!
