what are the chances ill brick it if i use easy downgrader? i have IC003 on my motherboard and 2.71 firmware im gonna use easy downgrader right away but id like to know the chances ill brick it first

yeah there is always a chance for a brick while flashing your psp.

Oh, I think I've bricked it, succesfully updated a 2.82 to 3.03 and downgraded to 1.5 yesterday. Tried it on a 3.03 today and it has failed, makes start up sounds then goes beep beep but black screen.

What direction to go from here?? This is a mate's psp and I'm gonna have to give him my one now!!

Please help>>

Huh, I left on for 15mins while ive been browsing and typing and it came up with this screen with loads of foreign writing with one english line saying system is corrupt, press x to restore settings. Pressing x has brought it back with 1.5!! yay!!

The other one didn't do this!! Why is this???

Anybody who's done this and get the same results pleave it on for a while as it might be the same..

ps. I switched it on & off a few times before this too..........?

Can anyone tell me, will all future downgrades require the specific GTA game with the correct update? or will new downgraders for 3.03 or 3.11 or something be using a different method? the reason I ask is that I have absolutely no way to get the game. I do not want to spend $30+ on ebay for a possible fake just to risk bricking my PSP, my friends do not have PSP's and I cannot go to blockbuster since my family hates the place and it is far away. Thanks for your help.
