I have 3.40 on my psp, and i am putting the 3.50 update in the psp directory as so
psp/game/update and inside the update folder 13840_EBOOT. I even tried to change the name of the update to "update" but its still reading as corrupted. I've downloaded this many times. Can anyone help?

Plz forgive me. I take that last post back. Needs to be renamed to just plain ol' "EBOOT" i keep forgeting that. I've offically owned myself, which is rare to others, but not to me. Again, forgiveness plz.

I can't get HENC to work on my 2.71, it just acts like a normal image in a folder... any ideas?

Umm, I'm not sure on what I'm doing wrong but I updated to version 3.5, put the MS_ROOT on my memory card and then put the update 1.50 FW into the update folder and it doesn't work when trying to use the Lumines exploit.

Any help is apreciated

Did you put the folder MS_ROOT on the MemStick or was it the files inside it?

I put the whole folder on the MemStick

Thats the problem.You need to put the folders and files inside of MS_ROOT on your MemStcik.

First i would like to say i'm new to this forum. i read all day the different mods u guys do and they r all amazing. i just got the balls to upgrade my 2.81 version psp non ta-82/86. and i successfully upgraded to 3.03 and then i downgraded to 1.50 successfully. the instructions u guys wrote were perfect and know i'm gettin ready to upgrade to a custom software, any suggestions? thanks to everyone who makes these mods possible u guys r geniuses.

thank you for this guide! i have managed to go from 3.40 - 3.50 and install the 1.50 downgrader thingy. just waiting for my copy of lumines to come through and all should be sorted

EDIT: got Lumines through the post today and im now on 1.50!

my cuz gave me a 2.80 psp nice right well I stupidly ran the downdater and it wasnt responding so I pulled the battery out and now i believe i have a brick so anyone have any suggestions?
