Resident Evil 2 for psp :(

Hello everyone
Recently I converted Resident Evil 2 (NTSC-USA) for my psp.The game stops while I'm trying to enter the R.P.D(Racoon Police Department).Does any1 knows why this happends? It's one of my favorite games and I cant play it on my psp.Please help me

its a common problem with re2, and no one knows why. might have to play one of the other games for awhile

I'm currently playing my way through Resident Evil: Director's Cut without any problems so far.

Well, maybe one problem - those hulking green guys are scaring the hell out of me! I'm worried about being decapitated before I can save my game.

My Suikioden II freezes at the first boss fight...IDEA we shoud start compiling all the working and non working popstation titles.

Yes,Resident Evil 3 stops sometimes but I finished the game 2 days ago.The secret is to save your process often.If someone knows something about Resident Evil 2,please let me know -pm me.Thanks

Short answer:
RE2 does NOT work on PSP. It's unplayable. Sorry.

Long answer:
I got around the door at the RPD, and guess what? Everything is fine untill you try to go upstairs in the RPD then it happens again.

Judging by this, it happens every time you enter a new 'area.'

RE2 is not playable yet and may not be for a while. Sorry to burst your bubble, but there is no magical hack or fix, trust me I tried making one. At first I thought it had something to do with getting the area map when you enter a new area but that theory was proven false. Then I thought maybe it was having problems with loading music but that obviously isn't the problem since the music changes twice before you even hit the RPD. I can make a save anywhere I want in the game and convert it to Popstation's .DAT format and it'll load up just fine, but even if I loaded up say a save in the sewers and I decided to go back to the RPD it would still freeze up even though I had been through that area already.

It's a code bug - all we can do is wait for Sony to make it compatible.

Wipeout XL is a really bad one too. It freezes right before the title screen.

Final Fantasy VIII is bad but here have been solutions for workarounds to it. Read this thread on Maxconsole for ideas:
