I checked Gamefaqs.com their guides were useless too. Maybe its just whoever you are closest too? I haven't played smackdown in so long but sounds like it auto targets who's closest.

Does anyone have a clue how to change who your targeted at, am i missing something, nothing in the manual and i've tried proding and jaming random buttons but nothing seems to happen ...

it auto targets someone who attacks you ... sometimes :S
there must be a way to change it all the other versions can and when there's 5 other people in the ring you really need to be able to choose who you want to attack not just blindly swing away till you hit someone

02-11-2007, 08:25 PM hey come on THQ arent that bad, the smackdown series has been ... reasonable ... it's the best wreslting series just a shame they've changed into an ea sports style "release a new every year with minor adjustments"
They've come out with some other beauties over the years, i'm a big fan of the dawn of war series.
The only games company i despise at the moment is the obvious EA ... they buy our brilliant ideas and then abuse them till they wont sell anymore

i've found out how to stand on apron, walk towards the ropes and press n hold X.
I want to know know why does the game lock up after nearly every match when running off MS?
