hey i was just wondering if theres any reason to buy the original metal gear solid from the playstation store
ive never played it before and want my first playthrough to be as fulfilling as possible. does the official version have anything on it that justifies spending $10? or should i just play the ripped version i already have on my computer

So sony are quite happily charging nearly £10 for a game you can probably get 2nd hand for 1.99 or even already own.

Its a shocking price as the game is 11 years old. Then sony wonders why people download thier stuff........

I always loved the "Tactical Espionage Action" gameplay they used with all MGS games. It's a great game. I would tell you to buy the GC remake, but that's hard to find and it costs about three times the regular MGS. So, meh, MGS has a replay value of three (if you want the Big Boss emblem that would make four).

Play the Metal Gear Solid Series are the best video games ever. i have not play 1 or 4. I played 2 and 3 until my PlayStation 2 broke . I also enjoy the cut scenes and the end cut scenes are so good and long like a half an hour. So they are totally worth playing

GC Remake? And beat MGS1 four times? I thought only 3 times? To get bandana and Stealth then abuse the hell out of them in the 3rd play. Isn't the Big Boss emblem only in MGS4?
