gran turismo psp not working

i have a psp with cfw 5.00m33-4 and i bought gran turismo psp for it and for some reason it won't play, i put in the umd select the game that comes under games and the splash screen comes up and a few seconds later the screen goes black and nothing happens (i guess it froze) how do i play this game

If you want to play it on 5.00 M33, you'll need to use the decryption guide in my signature, otherwise you can update to 5.50 GEN and play straight away.

what are some of the other advantages that 5.50 GEN has that m33 doesn't will i still have a recovery mode by holding down the R trigger and starting the system

Gen-D3 will allow you to play the newest psp games without having to decrypt.

M33 is known as the stable cfw. Plays games up to 5.00 firmware past that you have to decrypt

both have recovery mode.

Like Killer mentioned there are Plenty of threads on this.

yes use GEN-D3 is very good
but if you have any plugins GAME ones active while lunching the UMD the game crashes

you should use ultimate VHS menu it GEN d3 is better that the original one and thy approve to

will i be able to do all the things i did with m33 when i get gen-d3 like will i still be able to use afkim and ir shell

because we tried to run irshell on my friends psp which is running the latest version of GEN D firmware and it kept telling us that it was the wrong firmware for this game but other than that it seemed to be doing everything well

to run IRShell you need the patch iRShell.org as for GT make sure you didn't patch it because that may be causing problems.

and if i don't like this firmware going back to my m33 firmware is as easy as using the ol pandora battery and mms process i think psp tool will work in gen d, since all of the tutorials i've seen on youtube have their psp running m33 i'm not 100% sure about that
