    i'm afraid to upgrade to 3.03 OE-C though i really like the stuff found on 3.03 oe-c, i just bought my PSP like a week ago and the dealer was kind enough to upgrade it to 2.71 SE-C... he said that it's a nice start for noob's like me.... i'll try upgrading maybe next month if i get tired of SE-C.... I just hope someone in PSPmod will help me upgrade to 3.03 oe-c in the most safest way possible....

    Question: is there a recovery mode in 2.71 SE-C?

    i dont think there is... dont be scared to upgrade, someone else on here said the same thing, its not that big of a deal... so the guy upgraded it to 2.71 SE-C for you? whats the point? lol 3.03 oe-c is the same thing, but you can play MORE games and do more stuff fun... its easy too, look in my sig for the custom firmware FAQ its easy, put it in the GAME folder, then click on it and upgrade!

    3.03 is way batter like justin said its more customisable and has more features

    i have personally upgraded 13 psp's or my friends and my own psp and had no problem using the easy installer 4 it in the custom firmwaer thread under firmware

    its completely safe IF you follow the directions and have a full battery
    First PSP: 1.0>1.5>2.0>2.5>BROKEN SCREEN ='(

    Current PSP: 2.71>1.5>3.02 oe a>3.02 oe b>3.03 oe a >3.03 oe b>1.5>3.03 oe c>3.10 oe A>3.03 oe c

    So here's my noob question of the day: let's take for example the game GTA:LCS. It's filed under '2.0' - I'm running 3.40 OE-A, which means I put all my games/progs/etc under my /PSP/GAME150 folder. Does this mean that I won't be able to backup and run this game after I purchase it because I'm running 1.5 + 3.40? I'm still a little confused.
    2.71 -> 1.5 -> 3.40OE-A -> 3.51M33 ->
    3.52M33 -> 3.52M33-4
