God of wars, chains of olympus question

I have two questions for you guys:
I'm stuck in the room with this gigantic dinosaur which I simply CANNOT kill!! He squishes with a pillar me everytime he comes in when I open the door. 1)Can anyone tell HOW to kill this dino so I can get ahead with this game before I go nuts or put the game aside?. I LOVE this game but even though I pressed beginner or amateur this part is very hard.
Also, are there cheat notes somewhere for when we get stuck?
