whats the story behind these games? like what are they about?
i'm looking for games that invole some adventure/story not sure if final fantasy would be a good direction to take?

11-21-2011, 07:42 PM I'm guessing you are not at all familiar with the "JRPG" or Japanese roleplaying game genre?

This is the general gist of the Final Fantasy franchise. The combat is turn-based, everything you do during a fight you do through a rather extensive menu system. That being said, there are a few titles for the PSP in the Final Fantasy franchise which are slightly different. I think "Crisis Core" features a real-time combat system. Final Fantasy Tactics has also been ported to PSP. I believe the combat is a little more hands-on in that one, although I haven't played either of these so don't take my word for it.
J-RPGs can be fun, but they demand a lot of dedication, both to enjoying the gameplay, and enjoying the story, which is often delivered mostly in the form of text-based dialogue.

11-21-2011, 10:01 PM it is!but as tracerbullet mention needs a lot of dedication and watching every detail to enjoy it! it is simple,if you like pokemon , final fantasy is way ahead as an rpg,you 'll like it.
on the other hand if you want something with not a lot dedication and more relaxed gameplay,u should pick another rpg title!

11-22-2011, 01:25 AM well i am new to psp too.so i'd advise you to go to a major gaming site and see for example the top rated games on psp , or the most popular.

I personally would recommend Final Fantasy 7 and Kingdom Hearts BBS. FF7 you can get via DLC and KHBBS you can easily buy anywhere.
