i'm new at psp so i'm kinda dumb help plx?
when i started loaded final fantasy 2 it came up with this
(the game could not be started(80020148). thx
also could u guys tell me what system would be good for games and music?    |

You need to be on a CFW to play back ups
__________________ Upgraded My first PSP all the way to 3.51!!! Hell yea, then got online the next night and found out you can mod them, so I yelled as loud as I could with my inside voice WTF?!?!?!?! I sold it to some dork and bought a used one for 80 bucks... So 2 crappy nights and 80 bucks later!!!!!
2.71>2.8>3.51 M33> 3.52 M33!!! Best 80 bucks I have ever spent!!!

Usually custom firmware would have an extension after the number.
EX: 3.40 is official were 3.40 OE-A is custom.

go to ur xmb menu, the one thing with the icons that pops up first, go all the way to the left, go down to the sytem settings, press x, go down to system information, press x, your FW or Firmware is the number right next to system software. you need to know that if you want help with things here, we need to know what it is, because different FW's have different problems and different solutions.
you need custom FW to run backup games, and only FW's 3.50 and below can run CFW or Custom Firnware
some downgrades(changing ur FW to a CFW by reverse updating) need a umd game , either GTA or Lumines to run search the forums for specifics
