Tips for buying used psp

Helo, Im considering to Buy used psp

i now have about 100$,(it take a year lol)
how much is usually used psp priced?
Any tips/checklist/precausion when buying used psp?

Is there any refurbished psp? If there any, how to identify it?

How to detect dead pixel(s) easily?

Btw, should i wait until i have enough money and buy NEW psp or buying used psp is ok?
the gamestore here only sell FW 1.5 PSP, so i think they have many 1.5 on stock.

i got my ysed psp for 80 pounds without a ms with a ms it was 95 2 gigs by the way so you should be in the price range

Anytip i could give you is, if your buying it from ebay get one with CFW (or atelast 1.5 fw) on it. The last thing you want is to get a psp then brick it straight away.

if your looking on ebay, find a seller with a high rating, who sells many psp's, and has high ratings from customers.

If your going to a shop that sells used check out the condition and ask to play it

I bought a 1.5 PSP off ebay (UK) at christmas, and its never had a problem

I dont know how to use ebay lol.

What i want is like when buying used ps2,
the checklist is:
try play GT4, GTA, VP2:Silmeria to see wether the lens still good.
Try to play it vertical and horizontal.
Test the usb using guncon
Etc.

Is there no checklist like that for psp? I realy dont know psp durability and damages that may happend to psp.
So i need somekind of checklist to determind the used psp health.

Just ask to turn it on and look at the screen for dead pixels. Press the buttons around to make sure they all feel good. That's about it. Make sure it's the FW you want and make sure you get some warranty, they usually give a month for used stuff.

Aferall, even if buy new psp, the warranty only 1month lol
