Go fat until the slim is at its stable modding state, no bugs and all of that good stuff
__________________ Upgraded My first PSP all the way to 3.51!!! Hell yea, then got online the next night and found out you can mod them, so I yelled as loud as I could with my inside voice WTF?!?!?!?! I sold it to some dork and bought a used one for 80 bucks... So 2 crappy nights and 80 bucks later!!!!!
2.71>2.8>3.51 M33> 3.52 M33!!! Best 80 bucks I have ever spent!!!

What do you wanna do? Fat Pros:
-use of virtually all homebrew and custom firmware
-solid feel Slim Pros:
-faster loading times
-more RAM
-TV out
-lighter
-possible new accessories exclusive to this version
As for buying the Fat PSP first, then a Slim PSP down the line, it's possible that newer releases of the Slim PSP model would be patched for current homebrew exploits. I have no doubt that they'll be hacked eventually but it'll take a longer time, whereas the current revision of the Slim PSP is already hacked and is only awaiting further refinement. If you could afford it and homebrew is a must, I would suggest you get both now. |

Like 3 seconds faster loading time.. thats not a big leap... its a Playstation "Portable" Not a "Playstation Hook Me Up To a TV" , Lighter = Easier to break

I dont have a PSP !!!
Man thats why I don't really take any of my portables out of the house, I paid to much money, can't aford to lose anything.
Sry to hear the bad news tho man.
To tell you the truth I would just buy the slim. I am a patient person (somewhat... lol), I would buy the slim and just wait for better psp devs. to come.
Why buy another fat psp, and then end up buying the slim a week later?
Unless you really need your homebrew and psp apps...

For one thing, I don't think it's heavy at all and I like the solid feel to it. For another, I can't live without my homebrew. Besides, I doubt the "nifty" accessories would ever reach US shores. Aah. I bought mine specifically for long daily commutes back when I was at my old job. Going to work, I usually sleep during the trip. Going home, I think I'm able to watch an average of 4 anime episodes a day. That's pretty much the only time I get to watch anime. Now, I'm 15 minutes away from work, hence, I don't use my PSP all that often anymore.
