Default Need some help...

I had an original PSP, and I have a couple PS1 games on my memory stick (real discs that were converted to EBOOTs). I recently replaced that PSP with a PSP Slim, and when I use that stick with the Slim and try to play the PS1 games, I get a message saying, "To use this content, you must activate the system." I've already been through all the startup stuff. I never had this problem with my old PSP. Can anyone help me with this?

you need CFW to play ps1 games, look for a tutorial on it, and remember that the slim still carries the risk of bricking!

I had CFW with my old PSP before I ever did it, I guess. Never thought about it. But it still shows up on my PSP, unlike emulators and such. It won't work without any CFW at all? Then I wonder why it still shows up on the menu.

I guess I'm waiting for this battery unbricker I hear that's coming out soon for pandora before I do any of this, I hear it's risky to make a pandora battery and have CFW without it.

cfw is custom firmware
a hacked version of sony's firmware allowing you to play ps1 games
as well as homebrew and iso's.

Yeah, I know, couldn't remember the abbreviation, lol. Like I said in my post above, I never knew CFW was necessary for this. Unlike the emulators and whatnot, the PS1 games still show up on my PSP, just won't start (I get the message I mentioned in my topic post).

I want to do pandora, but ATM I know virtually nothing about it and its risks, whether or not it's risky ATM, etc.

powerpunk....just wait a lil for the slim pandora if you dont wanna risk it, but its still ur choice......and sapin, if your psp still works as in it still goes onto the xmb......then ur still good, go into the recovery menu and flash a new opening plugin or recover with the eboot, or you could just redoe the whole 340oea installation....but if it doesnt go into recovery, or go into the xmb, use the pandora technique.

Is it confirmed there will be one? And is there any speculated time of release for it if so?
