neon on a psp? not gonna happen.
Electroluminescent wire, maybe. It has been done, but the driver takes up pretty much space and I'm sure the power draw is pretty high.
Sideglow fiberoptics are the way to go if you want something neon-like on a psp. I doubt they make drivers that work on such a small scale, but all you would need is to melt the end of the wire around a knife tip or something to make it concave, hook an led to the end and use some silver paint on the end to keep the light in the wire. It hasn't been tried, but it would likely work if you do it right.

Do you know how to solder?
If not then would you spend 50-70$ for some lights?
:P Acidmods is lame. Ive been there and nobody wants to help you out. Its more of a site for modders. Or people want to get ripped off for some modding that should be cheap.

Checking the psp threads, I could only find one that has gone unanswered (out of first 20 on each of the 4 boards), but that's just due to the fact that no one knows the answer. Acidmods encourages people to do mods by themselves. Some people are afraid to open their psp's and are willing to pay the money to get a quality job done by respected people who even give a 3 month warranty for their work. Also, if you want an LED mod, it doesn't cost that much. One person just did a sound led mod for $20 profit if I remember correctly which really isn't much at all....
