Really odd problem...
Hi,
Okay, I have a few questions here, and they're really ticking me off. I just got a new psp slim, the ice silver with
family guy and daxter. Problem is that I beat daxter, and it's going to be awhile til I get to a place where they
have any psp games. Well, psp games I want to buy. Anyway, I brought it into town-I'm rural, no net-and
downloaded some demos. They didn't work. I followed the instructions: Download, unzip, put in GAME folder,
and try to run. Only my memstick doesn't even recognize that they are there. It's not the stick; I've downloaded
music, movies, and pics to it, aand everything works brilliantly. Only no game demos. Is this a problem with the
3.60 firmware? If so, why can't I find any answers on it? What the @%$! is going on here?
Okay, so enough with that, onto question number two:
I'm planning on getting burnout legends, as I love burnout, and the gameplay seems a perfect fit for mobile.
However, some reviews say the load times could be up to a minute, or even a little more. Yikes is the word that
comes to mind. However, I've been reading there's a way to rip a umd to a memstick, and play it off there. Now, it
seems mine doesn't even want to play demos, but if I can get that sorted out, I would love to make my copy of
burnout a bit more portable...and a bit less trying on my patience. I know it won't fit on my 1gb memstick, but I'm
going to get a four, which ought to solve that problem So, and ideas/opinions on where to go to find that information?
Or does it require me to venture into the hazy, brick-prone waters of custom firmware? Anyway, that's bout it.
Thanks in advance.
T,
P.S.
I'm at a library, and it closes 9 central, so after that I'm gone for days. So if I'm not responding, please post help
anyway, because I will return to read it. However, any help that could be rendered in the next hour would
be greatly appriciated. |
