Which is better? The Slim Or The Old

I'm about to buy a PSP. I can either buy a new slim PSP or I can get a brand new older PSP but I honestly don't know which one to get so that I can play ISO's on it.

now that most flat slims you but have the latest firmware, you might as well get the slim as it has a few little cool functions
and to be able to play iso's on your slim you will need upgrade to custom firmware using Pandora's battery.

i like the old one's that you can get from ebay or buy used becuase they're easier to hack because of their motherboards
