Default need help playing an iso

so i bought a copy of Brave Traveler of ebay, and when i got it the UMD case is about to come completely off, so i riped the game to an iso and was just going to play that so the original would not get completely messed up until my replacement case comes in sometime next week. now when i put it in the ISO folder off the root of the MS i see it under the game>memorystick location, and i even see that video that it plays when i have it selected. problem is when i click to play it all it does is load a black screen, any ideas?

Cool need help playing an iso

Right here is what you do, go into recovery mode go to Advanced>Format flash1 and reset settings. But before you do backup any Music, Games,Videos, e.t.c. you have on it. Also would be a good idea to format the memory stick after backing up your files, when thats all done try the iso again. GOOD LUCK I am now playing Silent Hill Origins, wicked.

He wouldn't need to backup his files unless he formats the memory stick, formating flash1 & restoring default settings does not delete anything on your memory stick.

and to play the iso, make sure you have NO-UMD (driver M33 or SONY) enabled.

u didn't have too...the guy was an idiot for telling you too...

all u had to do was change to the sony driver.

btw, u do want the sony driver, not m33, as the sony driver has better support.

ok, well the odd thing was that that was what caused it to work. i tried the other steps first. after reading all the trouble you can cause messing with flash i didnt want to do that but when i did the other steps i still could not get the game to start. after doing all of them (including formating flash1) it did work... idk maybe i did miss a step the first time.
