I was wondering if you have any idea what is wrong.. btw i dont have an umd disc because i didn't buy the package.
I had that same problem too for the longest time and I finally realized why I couldn't play any homebrew anything (for some reason I could still play ISOs). Download the 1.50-2 kernel HERE after upgrading your firmware to 3.71 M33-3 HERE. All of this is explained inside of Midian's Pandora's Battery Guide at the bottom. If you want in-depth instructions, go to his guide (HERE (GUIDE TO::Making Pandora's Battery (*new method*))) and do a CTRL+F for "Upgrading Your Custom Firmwared PSP" (without the quotes)

It solved my problem easily and you just put your homebrew in the GAME150 Folder instead of GAME folder.

I have a fat psp with a custom firmware 3.52 m33-2

there is this psp worms dvd where there are 3 folder
PSP. WORMS_OW and x folders..

Inside the PSP folder contains
PSP>Game>worms,WORMS% where there are eboot files

I would guess I would put them in the game folder of my psp

WORMS_OW contains the following
SYSDIR,USRDIR, some png files etv

x contains some flash1 files with many other files

So where do i put the 2 other folders...ie WORMS_OW and x folder

Thanks yet again !

a worms dvd??? maybe you have your terminology wrong or I've been living in a hole for the past few months... either way, it sounds to me that you're dealing with a homebrew game.

My best guess would be to put the WORMS% folder in the GAME folder (alternately GAME150) and the WORMS_OW folder on the root of the MS.

As for the x folders, my best guess would be to
1) plug in your USB cord to your PSP
2) enter the recovery menu of your PSP (turn it on and immediately hold R while booting)
3) go to "Advanced"
4) select "Toggle USB (flash1)".
5) copy and paste the files in the x folder the root of the memory stick.
6) select "Toggle USB (flash1)"
7) exit the recovery menu

A general rule of thumb for the PSP is that anything that is not labeled in a special folder (PSP, GAME, GAME150, flash1, etc.) usually goes on the root of the memory stick. Occasionally the file comes with instructions, in which case, disregard any of my comments that contradict them.

I am using 3.71 M33-3 right now and I don't know if the recovery menu is the same for 3.52 M33-2 so I apologize if the instructions made no sense.

Wow, it's been a while. I'm back in the PSP scene again after a few month haitus. Anywho:

@Hydro: All disc image files (ISO, CSO, DAX) go in a folder labeled "ISO" on the root of the memory stick. See if that helps out at all. otherwise, give us more information like your firmware version (OFW or CFW?) and if you've loaded the 1.5 kernal on the PSP.

Default ::GUIDE::How To Put Games On Your Memory Stick

Great tutorial

I'm a newbie in the psp world. I have CFW 3.80-M33 and trying to put a game on my memory stick. I successfuly extracted the Scarface off my UMD. I read a lot of posts to put the iso file in PSP/ISO folder. I don't have an iso folder. All I see is PSP/GAMES folder and so that's where I put it. When I turn on my PSP and load the game of from my memory stick, it says no game available. Please let me know if i'm doing something wrong or missing some important steps.

Thanks in advance
