Firmware Installed: 3.52 official :(

Default quick question

okay, ive read for a bit here now and cant seem to find any sort of answer for this question that i have. Ive searched the interweb for days now trying to find an answer to this one question and have come up empty. I read somewhere that if you have a PSP that, when you open the UMD slot, if you can see some letters/numbers (IC1003 specifically) that these PSPs are not downgradable at all regardless of what firmware is on them orginially, now this source seemed sort of old and there was no mention whatsoever of pandoras battery. is this IC1003 issue a thing of the past now that Pandoras battery is around? can anyone answer this from experience? Have you downgraded one that has this? very sorry if this has already been answered but i cant seem to find anything on it. anything i have found with mention of this on it is just really old and i want to know if all the things to do with this still apply. my PSP came with 3.50 on it i beleive. Please let me know. Thanks in advance

Greg

Firmware Installed: 3.80 M33-5

Default quick question

Greg, do you have a fat PSP or a slim? Look on the bottom for a barcode. It should be just under the select and start buttons. What are the last 4 digits on the barcode? (Should be something like "blahblahblah-PSP?00?")

I can see that you're using official firmware (OFW) 3.52. Let's try to get you to CFW 3.71 M33-4.

Do you have:

A) An official Sony battery
B) A spare battery
C) A genuine Memory Stick PRO-Duo
D) A USB cable for your PSP

You'll need these things to perform the hack. You'll also need to download the following file:

Let us know what kind of PSP you have and we'll tell you the rest.
