What do you suggest?

I sold my GP2x - I have to wait 1 week from yesterday to ensure purchaser is happy and does not want to return it.

So, I have enough money to buy a PSP Slim with Battery and power cord (they are going for $140 shipped on ebay).

I have a phat fat. In other words, My psp fat is pimped to the balls and I do love the hell out of it. I want a slim mainly for skype.

So, I was thinking of keeping both and leaving the slim on OFW but I would like to hear back from everyone who has both or has had both at one time. Is it silly to keep a fat for CFW and a slim for OFW?

Am I giving anything up if I sell my fat in favor of putting CFW on my slim? I know I will be stuck with having to use timemachine for my 1.50 stuff. Is that a pain? Is it like having a dual boot psp where I would need to restart it to use 1.50 things? And do I need to connect a pandora to do so?

What are the pros and cons of the situation I am going to be in shortly?

Or should I just keep both? The reason I may not want to keep both is to be able to purchase add on for the slim as they become available (I will need a remote with headset and mic since my fat one wont do, I may want the cam and gps when they are released here, etc...) so having the extra cash woud help.

well concering the time machine issue with 1.50, its not going to be a pain unless you actually use alot of old HB. many creators have stepped up to using 3.XX kernel methods for HB. and about the CFW issue, look at it this way. make the slim a CFW in case you brick 1 day

Thanks for that. I kinda do use a lot of the old HB stuff however, because of your answer, I will most likely just CFW it right away and decide over time whether to keep the fat or not.
