Hey guys,
Just bought a PSP from ebay with "latest 3.90 m33-3 firmware" and FF7 on it already, works perfectly blah blah, but I just thought I'd come check seeing as I'm new to PSP whether that should be perfect to start using and getting other PS1 games to play on it.
Say as if I were to download a PSP converted version of FF9, could I just pretty much run it fine straight away?
And is there anything you would recommend me doing? Getting a newer firmware? etc etc. Anything to get me started would be brilliant.

Thanks.

What artguybri@gog.... said is pretty much what you need.... but with trying to install popsloader in cfw 3.90m33 might takes some knowledge, it is quite complicated. But if you have the time.... i think youtube have a video guides that will show you how to do it.

Just did popsloader last night, if you want the easy way and not have to go through all the reading, download this and put it inside the root of your memory card. This is popsloader 3.8 v2 with all the prx's already done, tested and working on 3.90 m33-3. Btw dont forget to load the plugin in recovery mode for the psp.

however I would ask you to go through the process so you learn. T btw to get into menu for popsloader press the R button while starting a game.

It was complicated because the entire time I was trying to get into menu for popsloader while pressing R, even then it wouldnt allow me so I had to reformat my memory stick and then it worked. I then switched to the proper pops and then finally got diablo running (without it hanging on the loading menu). It took me all night hunting posts on google.
