pandora-psp phat lights not blinking issue?

I've tried 2 different memory sticks and each one does the same thing, all the lights will come on but not blink and then all go away after like 10 seconds.

Okay this worries me, I tested the battery+stick in a working not homebrewed psp and found out it actually does work. The reason I did that was because I've read that some psps are bricked beyond repair and I'm hoping this one isn't. In case your confused I have one bricked that was homebrewed and working until someone I think tried to upgrade it to the normal firmware without realizing it's homebrewed, the battery+stick wont work in that psp as all it does is have all the lights come on and no blinking and after say 10 seconds it goes away. But pandora works in the other psp. Please tell me it isn't lol, at least for future reference I'll backup the nand dump now that I know it can save something like this rite?
