Default Shrinking ISO's

Alright, I'm having troubles shrinking a stupid ISO!

I ripped a copy of God of War because the umd has been tossed around by accident and I don't know how much longer it's going to last, but anyway, I want to shrink it down to like 600-800 mb?? It's 1.5 gb in ISO and when i convert to cso, its 1.2, and in the new JSO, which i dont know how to use anyway, its still 1.2

it won't go any lower, can anyone help me with this? My card is only 1 gig and I dont have the cash right now to get a bigger one.

your best bet is to rip something out of it like audio or cutscenes

yeah i read that it was slow on cso so no way. gonna try to rip some files out.

i've followed a guide, which unfortunately i can't post links to yet. its really great. haha

and so far so good. just trying to make it as small as this guy did! Mine is still at 950+ megs but its a start!

Hopefully I can get it down to at least 800 and have a little room left.

I just am at a dead end on relinking anymore files, or tearing anything else out! I'm afraid i'll play the game for weeks and weeks and then at my favorite part his face will be missing or the video/audio will stop. haha

well my God of War cso is just over 1 gig.... 1056 megs to be exact. And thats with no audio or video taken out. When you convert to a cso selecct CSO level 9. and ps i did this with UMD dumper because when i tried convertiong the iso on the pc it always came to be about 1.5 gigs

alright so i've got mine as small as i could get it without, i hope, affecting the overall game play.

i've gotten rid of the end credits, all the different languages, and relinked a lot of the files and the size is 879mb. It's also converted to CSO and the lag isn't horrible in it, it plays normally, but when certain scenes come up it slows down a bit, but then speeds up again. I can handle it. :-p

I will probably go into it and remove the beginning cutscenes after i get through them and replace the end credits and stuff. Seems to make sense. :-p
