Hi guys just received 2 x 8gb from China obviously they are fake but they work fine and they have a 1 year warranty and I only paid £56 for both including shipping...
I have 3x4GB fake memory sticks, I have no issues with them at all. I've used them for everything from Magic Memory Sticks to CSO/ISO playback to homebrew, to timemachine on fat and slim.
If you ever run in to an issue, there is usually an easy fix and requires formatting of one kind or another. I can not speak for all fake sticks, just the ones I have.
I thought for the fake sticks, you don't actually get the full capacity of the stick. You only get like half or something. I read that somewhere. That's the reason why I choose not to buy mem sticks on ebay from china sellers or what not.
Not True (not half). I got 4GB sticks and they yield 3.8 Plus GBs formatted. You might lose 100MBs but nothing more. And Like I said, I'm only speaking for the ones I have. A real 4GB stick will format to 3.90GBS roughly.
