Fake Memory Stick????

I found this on ebay.. sony 8gb memory stick pro duo its 50.000 free shipping

item number is 250247970536

i know most memory thats low priced like this on ebay is fake, but the seller is located in the usa from the photo of the package it looks genuine, he doesnt have any negative feedback from the ones that have been sold already and i message the seller, from what he say he gets them in bulk from sony.

now the auction listing says "8GB SONY MEMORY STICK PRODUO 100% Genuine"

so if it turns out not to be a sony or 8gb then the item is not as described so it falls under ebay's and paypal's TOS and should be able to file a dispute and get my money back, if not i can go through my CC.

This seller have sold A number of items and a really low price, the only this i can really think of is they might have "fallen of the truck".

i figure either way i can lost on this..

just wondering what anyone else thinks???

It's hard to say. Usually the ones they sell on ebay for cheap are fake. Going by the feedback, it seems to be legit. It's really your choice. If it's truly legit, let us know. That would be a steal!

The page says the item doesn't exits. Even if he "bought it now," there would be a page saying that it was bought.

I purchased 3 4GB cards from this place -
Memory Stick

They have an ebay store with a great rep.

I have the cards for a few months now. All work fine, no problems with anything at all. I've used them to make MMS, play games, you name it.

I only found out recently that they are fake.

*shrug*

Who cares?

I got 3 for less than 30 bux shipped from china. That's all I cae about.

Insert your memory card into your PSP, go onto your memory card and press triangle --> information. If the PSP says "Magic Gate Unknown" then it is a fake. A genuine Pro Duo card will say "Magic Gate Supported"
