What are / is the best scrolling shooting game?

Greetings:

I am new to PSP and wonder what is / are the best scrolling action shooting games with nice graphics for this platform?

Any recommendation is greatly appreciated.

Killzone Liberation :- Though it's not a scrolling game but rather top down view shooter ..... But its among the best shooter games for PSP with nice graphics

MegaMan X Maverick Hunters is a classic side-scroller (and quite challenging).

Metal Slug Anthology has 5 (or 6?) of the Metal Slug arcade games rolled into one UMD. The graphics are 2D, just like the arcade versions, but the gameplay is great.

Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles is good as well. 3D version of one of the old CV games.

And I can't forget Patapon

. Rhythm-based sidescroller with unique (if a little, some may say, minimalistic) graphics and incredibly catchy music.

Check out reviews and see if any of these are what you're lookin for.

I would get the Megaman X and Metal slug antholgy and may be Castlevania but not Patapon. I don't like its graphic.

theres a game called Salamander. I dont think there was ever an english port of it. Its hard as hell but really fun.
Star Soldier is top-notch too. I spend hours on that game playing it over and over again.

I just got both of these. Will get them sometime next week along with my Pandora Battery and Magic Stick for cfw.
If it is hard for you a PSP veteran. It's probably unplayable for me. Do you happen to know if there are any cheat codes for these games?

Star Soldier basically is R-Type. Thats why i love it so much.

You could grab Gradius too. Thats a good one.
