Help, My PSP if freezing!

Hey all,
I have a PSP slim with firmware 3.90m33-3. I have a problem that games seams to freeze at some spots (always at the exact same spot) and the psp shuts down after a few seconds. That happned in games like God of war, Crisis Core FF7 and even Loco Roco. All those game were in iso format. Any idea what might be causing this? Is it a firmware problem? A bad memory stick? A problem with the hardware?

Any help would be appreciated.

did you illegally download them?

My guess is yes, and there lies your problem
