PSP HDD questions
ok this is my first post and i'm almost a complete nub at psp mods, but I managed to get a cfw on mine all by myself (well i downloaded and read alot but i didn't have any problems following instructions unlike some other n00bs i saw while researching what to do) I was poking around and saw some stuff on hdd's for psp and how it's not possible (except the datel or some ugly modding and lots of coding) but on the M33 cfw there is an option to change how the psp treats the usb device, the options were UMD disc, memory stick, flash0, flash1, flash2, flash3. now does this mean i could connect a flash drive to the usb and have the psp treat it as a memory stick? could the same be done with a powered usb hdd enclosure and a 2.5" drive possibly with some programming and trick drivers to make the hdd do what it needs to? any help appreciated I don't wanna go broke buying 4Gb MS Pro Duo's all the time. |
