help with making a magic stick

alright ppl str8 2 the point ive followed many videos on u tube 2 make a magic stick downloaded many files from the links n tryed loads of them 2 make my memory card magic ive follwed all the steps and its seemed 2 of all gone fine no problems but when im finished and ready 2 use it my psp screen stays blank the knothing happens theres no lights blinked on the left side on my psp lyk shown in other videos on u tube ive bort my pandora battery off the net cheap btw any help will b much aprechited ive spent countless hours trying programs and differtn vidoes my psp firmware is on 3.90 and im usin widows vista and ive tryed usin athew sizes on memory sticks ei 256mb 4gb 512mb thnks psp mods

As far as i know you need a psp with custom firmware instaled to run the programs that make the magic card, from what i understood you only have the pandora right ?
I say this because i use this tutorial to make my pandora and ms and you need to run some programs (timemachine, despertar del cemeterio) on the psp to depack the firmware updates and partition the memory card ...
So ...i dont know, try to follow a tutorial for the hardmoding pandora batery, because with that method you also start with the batery in service mode and make the ms afterwards

download the "Catb50 Team's Magic Memory Stick Creator v2.0 FULL & LITE"
just google it..
then extract..
then run start.exe
then follow on screen instructions..
you do not need a psp that already has custom firmware on it for this meathod of making the magic memory stick..

If you're using a computer with Vista then try switching to one with XP...that did it for me =\

download totalnewbi installer, that should work, just make sure when it asks you to make a selection you choose option 4.

already answered for me.yes use eitheir catb or totalnewbiinstaller to create your magic memory stick.once your on custom firmware,using this and a pandoras battery.format your stick via psps system settings format stick option. ,i recommend finding 401.pbp putting it on your root,find desperator v 7 and put the dc7 folder in psp/game.run it then look in your root for the tm folder open it,open config.txt and change the part of whats in there from NOTHING = to L =.this allows you to have your pandora run normal and also be able to go to the pandora side by holding L trigger upon bootup.it flashes also to 4.01 m33-2 so its definitely good to have and your all set ;P
