What did i really do? install cfw? mod?

hey gang i was told that in order to play games on psp, (other than umd) that i would have to mod psp. (bottom line)

well i upgraded the system software from something to 4.01 m33
someone also told me on this site that the that the "m33" means that it was modded.

i am able to play games on it now, (at least eboots) that i have aquired.

my question is what did i really do?
did i install custom firmware? did i mod it?

yeah you put CFW on it. You pretty muched hacked/modded/broke into the system hahaha. good job

well ull need to mod ur battery or get one called datel tool from amazon. then just make a mms and put them both in ur psp and press x. make the magic memory stick using totally newbie easy installer. just google it. and i recommend buy the datel tool but if u do mod i then ull need a spare.

lol man..he already mod his psp..hehe..he got cfw unless he want to downgrade he could use your opinion man.he already hacked his psp..he can play iso now.well good job to you man!!

format ur memstick in ur psp,copy and paste your iso game into ISO folder in memstick..it should appear in ur psp in game>memstick..ok

where should the "iso" folder be?

it should be in ISO folder inside memory stick root,if not,,reformat your memory stick inside your psp,then proceed copy and paste the .iso into ISO folder..
