Upgrade From Fat To Slim?
I'm thinking about buying one of the few extended batteries left in stores, but then I thought that it might be better to just buy a slim. And yes, I have a pandora to change it to CFW. But I have heard about some motherboards that wont work with pandoras, so I'm a bit hesitant to go through with it. I have also seen the PSP-3000 and Im not too interested in it. Anyone have any input on whether or not I should move from slim to fat? |

this is just my opinion but i think u should just stay with a phat for now...i lov my phat psp, and i havent had any probs with it, and i think it would be stupid to waste the money to shell out for a slim. |

The new 3000 psp thats about to come out has a much nicer looking screen IMO. But, I just bought a big PSP bundle. So I'm gonna stick with the Phat for a while, I like the size anyway. Wish the screen was better though. |

Thanks. I was leaning towards keeping it, but I really want that extended battery. It said online that a gamestop had one, but when I called, they said they didn't. Would anyone happen to know where I could pick one of these up? |

..!? the slim's life is like.. crap. and the psp-3000... when it comes out i would like to see if i can replace my slim's screen with the psp 3000, and the color contrast difference.. why do i feel like that can be done with homebrew apps?

Carp's right, if you want to use the video out go with a slim (Used is a better way to go, cheaper and chances are you won't get one with the new mobo) If you don't care about the video out then stay with your phat, the weight is good, it's a sign of reliability. If it doesn't work, you can always hit him with it.

yeah, keep your phat, the best thing about it is that if your playing monter hunter with your friends via ad-hoc you can always slap them across the face with the phat like a fish if they get you killed, since the phats made of stronger and heavier material, im sure itll hurt more.

Anyways, I love my PSP-1001. I wish it had video output, but other than that I'm not too interested in a PSP-2001. plus I got a sweet camy PRO faceplate! Why would i want to trade silver dragons for boring silk screen of Kratos or something plain?

I bought a slim psp yesturday, and i don't think i could ever go back to a Phat. Psp slims are so much better, and they can do so much more. But i wouldn't get a PSP-3000 because i think Sony is gonna make these PSP's very very very tough to crack |

I got the slim after going through a few reviews.... I find there is not much difference between the fat and the slim except the addition of TV out and IR removed... Both are pandorable (Till now I believe), the only reason I bought the slim was that I can use the battery for fat and get extended game play (I am still looking for the cover which could be replaced on slim for fat battery, here in India I was not able to find one), other than that there wasn’t any considerable benefit. |

its all about the phat.
the slim is way too light.
it feels like your holding feathers and cheapness in your hands. |
