Question Issue with game's save files

Hi. I have this issue. I have being playing a game from an iso for a time now and I have my save file with quite a few hours of game save. But now I got the UMD of this game, and it happens that I can't see this save file in it. Is there a way in which I can modify this save file to work with the UMD?

I also tried the opposite: I saved my game from the UMD and tried to play the file from the iso. But I couldn't see this new save file in it either. Has anybody had the same issue? How can I play my save file created from the iso in the UMD?

Default Issue with game's save files

Can I Ask Why You Would Want To Do That???

If You Have The ISO And It Works With Save And All,
Then Why Would You Want To Play Via A UMD???

Because I want to play multiplayer with some friends. They have the UMD and I just had the iso. But we couldn't connect. And now that I also have the UMD, I cannot use my previously saved data on it And even if they download now the iso, they wouldn't be able to use their previously saved data (from the UMD) in it.

Most likely from the sounds of things the ISO you had is a different region ISO.

Yeah Thats A Possiblity

You Might Think About Having Them Use A UMB Region Fake.
