Default Tips On Buying A New Psp

Hey guys i came with something that might help u ppl to know whethr a psp is hackable or not from its box.its by DA so i think its valid.I dunno if this has been posted before or not

Limited Edition & New Boxstyle:
Daxter Limited Edition Pack (TA-85v2/3.80 OFW)(CONFIRMED)
God of War Limited Edition Pack (TA-88v2/3.95 OFW)(CONFIRMED)
Madden 09 Limited Edition Pack (TA-88v2/3.95 OFW & TA-88v3/4.01 OFW)(CONFIRMED)
Piano Black with the New Box Style (TA-88v3)(UNCONFIRMED)
Piano Black (Amazon.com)(TA-88v3)(PARTIALLY CONFIRMED)

PSP-2000 Original Boxstyle Box Codes (Thanks to Alek @ Dark-AleX.org):
(No Letter) = 3.60
A = 3.71
B = UNKNOWN
C = 3.72
D = UNKNOWN
E = 3.80
F = 3.90
G = 3.95 / 4.01 (TA-88v2 / TA-88v3)
A PSP with G and the 4.01 firmware is most likely a TA-88v3 motherboard, so it is advised that you stay away from them.

PSP-2000 Motherboard Information:
TA-85 (Can use and make Pandora Battery)
TA-85v2 (Can use, but cannot make Pandora Battery)
TA-88v2 (Can use, but cannot make Pandora Battery)
TA-88v3 (Cannot use or make Pandora Battery)

HOPE IT HELPS

ITS NOT MY WORK I JUST GOT IT WHILE I WAS SEARCHING FOR THE SAME

Hi, Thanks for the great info.
I am a noob. What do you mean by "Cannot make Pandora Battery".
I just ordered a Pandara Battery from DX and I am in the market for a new PSP slim. Do you mean I cannot use the Pandora Battery to mod the PSP if it has TA-88v2 mob?

Thanks.

OK after taking a better look at the list it looks like all the ones with TA-88v3 are the ones to stay away from.

Default Tips On Buying A New Psp

I live in Alberta and it seems like the only psp-2000 around are the Blue Madisson edition and Black Piano. Both are not modable according to the threads I am reading. Crap. I bought a black piano and found it came with 4.01 ofw. I returned it. Please let me know if anyone knows where to get the Daxter version. No vendors seem to have this bundle.

Default Tips On Buying A New Psp

Hey guyzzz now i have become financially strong to buy a psp but now when i have decided to buy a psp there have been some problem going around about the TA88v3 motherboard.Guyzzz i dont want a v3 mobo.I want a psp that is hackable.Just read a post by zarz123 about

Limited Edition & New Boxstyle:
Daxter Limited Edition Pack (TA-85v2/3.80 OFW)(CONFIRMED)
God of War Limited Edition Pack (TA-88v2/3.95 OFW)(CONFIRMED)
Madden 09 Limited Edition Pack (TA-88v2/3.95 OFW & TA-88v3/4.01 OFW)(CONFIRMED)
Piano Black with the New Box Style (TA-88v3)(UNCONFIRMED)
Piano Black (Amazon.com)(TA-88v3)(PARTIALLY CONFIRMED)

I have come to know that amazon is selling Ice Silver DAxter bundle
Now is it the same bundle which zarz123 mentioned
"Daxter Limited Edition Pack (TA-85v2/3.80 OFW)(CONFIRMED)"
Does it really contain TA85v2 which is hackable.
