vshmenu is just a smaller recovery menu with a few of the recovery menus options to tweak your psp settings.

when you press select on main psp screen you will see this popup.

The Features are as follows:

CPU CLOCK XMB-this is how fast you want your main menu area to move (333=best)
CPU CLOCK GAME-this is how fast you want games in the games folder to run(333=best)
USB DEVICE:this is what you want to view on your pc when you go into usb mode(memory stick files,flash0,flash1,flash2,flash3,or umd disc files if you got a umd in the umd drive
UMD ISO MODE:this is the drivers that will make isos run(m33 driver for best performance)
ISO VIDEO MOUNT:this is what you select when you have a video iso in the ISO/VIDEO folder to get it to show up and work in the normal Video Folder(must have a video umd in drive to start video iso mount
Shutdown Device:shuts off psp
Reboot Device:reboots psp
Exit:goes back to the main psp screen and closes the menu

Note:this only explains the vsh menu in all psps up to 5.00 m33-4 assuming you do not have any vshmenu alterating plugins to add more features,or 5.02 gen-a whitch has more options.
