Default Please Help

Just got a PSP for free from a friend that was using 3.03 OE and wanted to take it to OFW, was recommended to do the OE to 1.50 program, and it took me to official 1.50 from there went to upgrade to the 5.50 OFW and was presented with the error, " The system configuration of this PSP system does not appear to be correct. The update cannot be completed. Contact technical support for assistance. (DRNFFFFFFD7)" and anytime I try to run anything from the memory stick I receive the same error or the error, " This game cannot be started (80020148)" Was able to move up to version 3.11 from roommates UMDs..but the UMD will only work if it's a version or two away from the current, for example I tried to go from 3.11 to 3.5 via UMD and was unsuccessful. I have a PSP-1001 PHAT with a 3.6 1800mah and a 4GB memstick. As far as the memstick, I've also tried using a 1GB and have had the same results. Basically ran out of options since I can't click anything from the memstick, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Use a pandora battery and magic memory stick and that will take you to cfw. This guide should help:

The DRNFFFFFFD7 error is an error dealing with IDStorage that has been corrupted due to the downgrading process...I'd suggest Pandora coupled with a DC8 MMS(Has ability to Fix IDStorage).

Purchased the Pandora from this site. Received it today, I'm 100% n00b so please bare with me. Not sure if this is normal but the Pandora only works when it's the PSP is charging, I made the MMS TWICE, both times the light confirms that the MS is being read but with the pandora (charging of course) it just boots right to the PSP menu and not to the specific text menu I was instructed I would receive. This is the guide I read, 50081-how-easily-create-psp-magic-memory-stick.html I attempted to charge the Pandora but after about 5 mins the PSP automatically shuts off, Is my Pandora bad or am I doing something wrong?
