Newbie Question (I have read Guides too)
Well I have a few questions in regards to downgrading my 3.8 OFW Phat PSP.
Now I looked at the stickies and guides and determined that I should be able to Downgrade my IC1003 Mobo 3.8 OFW psp. And came to the conclusion that I need a Pandora Battery and Magic Memory Stick.
But what I haven't been able to answer is the following:
1. Is there any reason to get a big memory stick 2g+ for use of a MMS?
2. After I make a MMS, will I be able to use it for other puproses? (Saving Games, Homebrews, etc.?)
I planned on buying the battery + MMS from here if that makes any difference. |

U don't need pandora and mms, update to 5.03 officail firmware, google chickhen r2, install it, google hellcats recovery flasher, run chickhen, run hellcats recovery flasher in chickhen, choose flash 5.00m33
Read the readmes for chickhen and recovery flasher first |

No, run the chickhen r2 tiff exploit, once rebooted into hen, check the system software, it should say 5.03 ChickHEN R2, do not turn off the psp, open hellcats, install 5.00m33 |

Ahh gotcha, and I found a video that I think will help.
Just another question if you don't mind.
If I have saved game data on my memory card as of right now, is there anyway I can take it off and put it back on after I do all of these steps as it recommends reformatting my card beforehand. |
