Default Ps1 emulator on PSP?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the best/ most stable ps1 emulator is for PSP? I've seen and heard of a few but I'm not too sure which one is the most recent one, or most popular.

Also, how do I make it work once I've downloaded it and put on my PSP? (to avoid me asking "what do i do?" 5 minutes after someone replies lol)

there is a near perfect ps1 emulator built into the psp firmware already. all you need to do is create a backup of the original PSX CD and the convert it to eboot.

*EDIT* here's a guide on converting your PSX CD backups to eboot:

Default Ps1 emulator on PSP?

Well, I followed the first thread I saw on how to do it, and I'm using PSX2PSP, but I'm constantly getting the error "Cannot open c:users\me\desktop\files\BASE.PBP, even though I have a base pbp file which i downloaded seperately
