They most likely just replace the MoBo because as far a WE know there is NO WAY to unbrick it.

They use a special cable that is essentially a PC serial interface.

It uses the A/V port next to the headphone jack. This isn't just an A/V port but is also a serial port. Ignoring the fact that we could easily create this cable and the physical connection, we don't have the encryption keys or any of the necessary software to interface with it.

well my question sounds kinda straight forward but why not create a software or encryption keys that allows just to unbrick the psp 2000 and 3000 series? since there is a lot of people with this psp bricked :/

You can't just "create" encryption keys.

Unless Sony inadvertently sends out their hardware again like they did with their service mode battery, I don't see anyone other than Sony being able to unbrick these models.

yeah but according to Slowman he said that they used this cable that's A/V and is also a serial port I guess that is the hardware part. he said we can make this cables really easy but we don't have the software to do it I mean make our own. you know what I mean mon?

Yes "mon", I do know what you mean. However, as killer explained, encryption keys can't just be created. Sony is the only holder of the keys. It's as simple as that.

For example, you can't copy my car keys if you don't know the profile of the cut now can you?

you do have a point. I hope there will be a day that this type of psps with ta88v3 MoBo will be unbricked because is frustrating after wanting a hacked psp but failed or succeeded and then failed by accident. If we want to succeed then we need to learn a little bit from them "monkey see monkey do" and then we know it most of been really obvious but is just Mission Impossible and yes there is no way to create encryption keys is too long and a waste of time
