Every time I try to make a PSX Eboot I try to launch it and the PSP freezes without even playing the gameboot. Any suggestions? I've been ripping and converting them with Auto popstation 4 and I'm running 3.40 OE-A. Also, is it possible to just play the ripped PS1 ISOs on the PSP without converting them into eboots?

I'd love to try it, but I only have a 512 MB stick, so if someone else could confirm it I'd appreciate it. I'll take a look at the guide.

yeah dont worry about your size, if you use autopop4 you can compress it to quite a low size... depending on the size of the PSX game, some range from 98mb to 512mb+ , thts just my eyes though

No, I meant that I don't have enough memory to try playing the unconverted ISOs. I know I've got enough memory for a compressed Eboot, since I've tried making a few of them and they usually fit. Its just that they crash my psp whenever I try to launch them. The PSP doesn't even play the gameboot.

I'm not sure if it plays backups because the ripped ISOs are all too big for my memory stick. They're all over 512 MB. The coldboot works fine and the gameboot also works fine when I launch anything else.

Yeah, I've got a custom theme (Wallpaper, Icons, waves), a custom coldboot, custom gameboot, and a Cintro, and I'm gonna add custom clicksounds soon. None of it has affected any of my homebrew or UMDs. I haven't tried CSOs, just Eboots made from ISOs I ripped.

eboots are real ppicky about if they boot or not with custom icons and waves and things like that, i know from past experiences it just locks up or shuts down, did you ever try the eboot without your theme ?

I downloaded a Crash Bandicoot 2 Eboot and it worked fine, but the eboots I make myself don't seem to work.
