QUESTION ABOUT BOTH PSP PHAT OR SLIM PM ME.
Every time I try to make a PSX Eboot I try to launch it and the PSP freezes without even playing the gameboot. Any suggestions? I've been ripping and converting them with Auto popstation 4 and I'm running 3.40 OE-A. Also, is it possible to just play the ripped PS1 ISOs on the PSP without converting them into eboots?
i think its possible, drop it in the ISO folder and see, but autopop should work fine ? see my guide

yeah dont worry about your size, if you use autopop4 you can compress it to quite a low size... depending on the size of the PSX game, some range from 98mb to 512mb+ , thts just my eyes though

No, I meant that I don't have enough memory to try playing the unconverted ISOs. I know I've got enough memory for a compressed Eboot, since I've tried making a few of them and they usually fit. Its just that they crash my psp whenever I try to launch them. The PSP doesn't even play the gameboot.
ohhh right so your psp doesnt play any backups ? and the gameboot may have been turned off ( Sikp SCE logo on recovery menu>config )

so youve only ever tried eboots and cso's ? do you have anything customized on your psp other than the firmware eg battery efits XMB waves or anything ?

eboots are real ppicky about if they boot or not with custom icons and waves and things like that, i know from past experiences it just locks up or shuts down, did you ever try the eboot without your theme ?

try looking at my guide and following the instructions exactly
