    1. ok I have a Phat psp
    2. 3.90 m33 cfw
    3. tried to install GPSP (File Details-gpSP-0.9-1.5-EBOOT-PSP-Emulators -)
I put the 2 folders into my /GAME folder on my psp
(I have 3 folders /GAME, /GAME150, & /GAME352[<doesn't even recognize it when I put it in the last one]).
In any case, when I go to the memory stick on the psp it says one of the folders is nothing but corrupt and when I start the other one, i get the psp game start screen...darkness (~1.5 sec.)... then the error 80020148.
umd disk insertion has no effect.
boot menu configuration is as follows...

    skip logo: disabled
    hide corrupt: disabled
................1.50 kernal (changing back and forth hasn't helped)
    ................disabled
................m33 driver (tried the sony NP9660 to no avail)
    ................disabled
    ................enabled
    ................disabled
    ................enabled
    ................memory stick
    ................enabled
    ................disabled
    .
    advanced configs both disabled.

and I have no idea whether or not i modded my flash 0 or 1. I'd say I haven't.

*edit* I also installed an snes emulator and arrived at the same results...If it's any help (and it's probably not) I also have converted my psp into an iPSP
YouTube - iphone on psp =ipsp

*EDIT* I D/L'd THE 3.XX PACK AND ALL IS WELL NOW! YOU CAN DISREGARD THIS POST. THANKS.

thats good you fixed the problem but you should also do this.......

the GAME352 folder that you have is not needed so change it to GAME390 because you have 3.90 FW

and the option where you have M33 driver you should just put it back to normal and keep a UMD GAME Disc in it at all times gives very little to NO problems.............

Funny, I've had to set mine to Sony 9660 or something like that.

I have 3.80M33-5 and it is best to simply PUT A UMD DISC AND PLAY backed up ISOs

Becaue you don't have a figurationmenu.

If you are here is means you want to install custom firmware. So search for pandors guide and do it.

Pandora battery and Magic Memory stick combo downgrades and PSP firmware. So it will work for you 3.95.

but if i download the higher firmer won't i lose my ISO files? cuz the guy in signapore told me that the FW had to be 3.14(some letters here) or lower for the psp to support iso files. like iso files would be the games that i downloaded off the internet.

Ask the guy in Singapore. Seems to be a better more trusted source for you than PSPMod.com

    NOT TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!

ISOs files can be played with all FW WELL.........

What he meant was that if you have FW Custom lower then 3.14 (some letters here) Then you can't play the ISOs of the new games that just came out......

Go back to 3.90 Kernel and BECAUSE you have a slim you need to download a special SNES EMus that work for slim(non-1.5 Kernel)....... Look Here
